GA4 Setup and Conversion Tracking Services

Our GA4 setup and conversion tracking services are for businesses whose analytics either do not match reality or were never configured properly. We build tracking that records the enquiries and sales that matter, and sends the right signals to your ad platforms.

What our GA4 setup covers

  • Tracking audit

A review of your current GA4 property, tags and ad platform conversions to find duplicates, gaps and misfiring events.

  • GA4 configuration

Property and data stream settings, internal traffic filters, cross-domain tracking and sensible data retention.

  • Google Tag Manager

A clean, documented container with consistent naming, so future changes do not break existing tracking.

  • Conversion events

Form submissions, calls, WhatsApp clicks, bookings and e-commerce purchases tracked as distinct, named events.

  • Ad platform conversions

Conversions set up in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, aligned with GA4 so platforms optimise towards the same goals.

  • Consent and privacy

Tracking configured to respect your cookie consent setup and the privacy expectations of your markets.

Good GA4 setup is about decisions, not dashboards

A default GA4 install collects page views and a handful of automatic events. That is rarely enough to answer the question owners actually ask: which channels bring in customers? Conversion tracking has to be designed around your business. A clinic cares about booked appointments, a developer about qualified viewing requests, a shop about completed orders. Each needs different events, different parameters and different checks.

The most common fault we find is double counting. A thank-you page fires a conversion, a form plugin fires another, and Google Ads imports a third. Reports look healthy, but the ad platform is optimising towards inflated numbers. The second most common is the opposite: phone calls and WhatsApp clicks are not tracked at all, which in Lebanon and the GCC can hide a large share of real enquiries.

We treat tracking as something to test, not just install. Every event is triggered by hand, checked in GA4 DebugView and the ad platforms, and compared with what arrives in your inbox or CRM. We document what each event means, so your team and any future supplier can read the reports without guessing. Then we keep checking, because site updates and new forms quietly break tracking more often than people expect.

How we set up GA4 and tracking

  1. Audit

We review your existing GA4, Tag Manager and ad platform conversions and list what is missing, broken or duplicated.

  2. Plan

We agree a measurement plan that names each conversion, where it fires and which platforms should receive it.

  3. Implement

We configure GA4 and Google Tag Manager, then connect conversions to Google Ads and Meta.

  4. Verify

We test every event against real submissions and hand over documentation your team can maintain.

Why choose Besiders for GA4 setup

  • We build the sites too

Our team develops websites on many platforms, so we can fix tracking issues in the code, not just in the tag manager.

  • We run the ads

We manage Google Ads and Meta campaigns, so we set up conversions the way bidding systems actually use them.

  • Measured against revenue

We judge tracking by whether it matches enquiries and sales, not by how many events it records.

Frequently asked questions

Why does GA4 show different numbers from Google Ads or Meta?

Each platform uses its own attribution model, counting window and definition of a conversion. Some difference is normal. Large gaps usually point to duplicate tags, missing consent handling or conversions defined differently in each tool.

Can you fix our existing GA4 property instead of starting again?

In most cases, yes. We audit the current property and keep your historical data, then correct the configuration and events. Starting a new property is only worth it when the existing one is badly broken.

Do you track WhatsApp and phone call conversions?

Yes. We track clicks on WhatsApp and phone links as conversion events and send them to your ad platforms where appropriate. For many businesses in the region these are the main enquiry channels.

Do you use Google Tag Manager?

Yes, for almost every project. A well-organised Google Tag Manager container makes tracking easier to change, test and hand over without editing website code each time.

Does GA4 tracking work with e-commerce platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce?

Yes. We set up e-commerce events such as product views, add to cart and purchases, and check that order values match what the store records.
