Branding·Besiders, since 2002

A branding agency for brands that have to work hard

Besiders is a branding agency for business owners and marketing teams who need a brand that holds up in the real world, not only in a presentation. We shape how you look, sound and present yourself in Arabic, English and French, so every website, campaign and sign tells the same story.

What our branding services cover

  • Brand positioning

We define who you serve, what you stand for and why you are different. Every design decision that follows is checked against it.

  • Brand identity

A complete visual and verbal system: typography, colour, imagery and tone of voice. Built to work in Arabic and Latin scripts from the start.

  • Logo design

A mark that is distinctive, legible at any size and ready for every format you will need. Bilingual lockups are designed together, not bolted on.

  • Brand guidelines

A clear brand book your team, printers and other agencies can actually follow. It keeps the brand consistent after we hand it over.

  • UX/UI and digital design

We carry the brand into websites, apps and interfaces. A brand that looks right on a poster but breaks on a phone screen is not finished.

  • Campaign design

Launch and campaign creative built on the new identity. It is where the brand is first tested in front of real customers.

Branding is a business decision before it is a design one

Most branding projects go wrong at the start. A company asks for a new logo when the real issue is that nobody can explain what the business does differently. A good branding agency slows down at this stage. We talk to the owners, the sales team and, where possible, customers. The aim is a short, honest positioning that the team agrees with. Without it, design becomes a matter of taste, and taste changes with every new manager.

In Lebanon and the GCC, branding carries an extra layer of work. Most brands live in two scripts, often three languages. Arabic is frequently treated as a translation of the English brand, with a font picked late and a logo squeezed to fit. Customers notice. We design the Arabic and Latin sides as equals, with type, spacing and tone that feel related without being forced into a literal match.

The other common mistake is treating the brand as finished on launch day. A brand is used daily by people who were not in the workshop: a sales rep building a deck, a printer setting up a sign, a freelancer designing a social post. Our work includes the tools that let them get it right. Because our team also builds websites and runs campaigns, we see how the brand performs once it is live, and we adjust.

How we run a branding project

  1. Diagnose

We review your current brand, competitors and the markets you sell into. You keep the findings whether or not we continue.

  2. Position

We agree on positioning, audience and personality in plain language. This becomes the brief for every creative choice.

  3. Design

We develop the identity and logo in Arabic and Latin scripts together, and test them on real applications, not only on white backgrounds.

  4. Equip

We deliver guidelines, templates and master files, then support your team through the rollout across web, print and campaigns.

Why work with Besiders on your brand

  • Since 2002

We have built and rebuilt brands for over two decades. We know which decisions matter and which ones are just fashion.

  • Bilingual by default

We work in Arabic, English and French every day. Your brand is designed to feel native in each, not translated.

  • Brand and delivery under one roof

Our team also designs websites, apps and campaigns. You talk directly to the people doing the work, and the brand survives the handover.

Frequently asked questions

What does a branding agency actually do?

A branding agency defines how a business is positioned and then expresses that through a logo, visual identity, tone of voice and guidelines. The goal is that customers recognise you and understand what you offer. At Besiders this also extends to the website and campaigns where the brand is used.

What is the difference between branding and a logo?

A logo is one element of a brand. Branding covers your positioning, visual identity, language and how the business presents itself everywhere. A strong logo with no system around it usually ends up used inconsistently.

Do we need a full rebrand or just a refresh?

It depends on whether the problem is strategy or execution. If people understand what you do but the look feels dated, a refresh is often enough. If the business has changed direction or entered new markets, positioning usually needs revisiting first. We look at what you have before recommending either.

Can you create a brand that works in both Arabic and English?

Yes. We design Arabic and Latin versions together so they share proportions, weight and personality. This avoids the common problem of an Arabic version that looks like an afterthought.

How much does branding cost?

Cost depends on scope: a logo refresh is a very different project from a full brand with guidelines and rollout. We start by understanding the business, then quote a clear scope based on what it actually needs.
