SEO·Besiders, since 2002

Arabic SEO Agency for Multilingual Websites

Besiders is an Arabic SEO agency for brands that need to rank in Arabic alongside English, French or other languages. We handle native keyword research, content and the technical setup so each language version reaches the right audience.

What our Arabic and multilingual SEO covers

  • Native keyword research

Arabic queries researched directly, including dialect terms and transliterated searches, not translated from English.

  • Language and region targeting

Hreflang, URL structure and language switching set up so Google shows the right version in each market.

  • Right-to-left build quality

Arabic pages checked for layout, fonts, metadata and structured data in RTL.

  • Arabic SEO content

Pages written or adapted by native writers who understand both the language and the search intent.

  • Per-language reporting

Performance tracked separately for each language and country, so weak versions are easy to spot.

Translating your English site is not Arabic SEO

Arabic version of a website we built: right-to-left layout, Arabic typography and navigation

The most common mistake we see is translating English keywords and pages into Arabic and expecting them to rank. Arabic searchers often use different words, different phrasing and sometimes a different language entirely for the same need. Some search in Modern Standard Arabic, some in dialect, some in Arabic written with Latin letters. Arabic SEO starts with researching those queries directly, then deciding which ones deserve their own pages.

The second problem is technical. Multilingual sites frequently ship with missing or broken hreflang, Arabic pages that reuse English titles, or a language switcher that sends users and crawlers to the homepage. Each of those quietly limits how well the Arabic version can perform, however good the content is. Right-to-left layouts add their own issues, from mirrored navigation that breaks internal links to Arabic titles truncated in search results. None of these show up if you only test the English site, which is why we review every language version on its own terms.

There is also a real opportunity. In many sectors, Arabic search results are thinner and less competitive than English ones. A well-built, genuinely useful Arabic page can earn visibility that would take much longer to win in English. The same logic applies to French in markets where it is widely used. The trade-off is effort: each language needs its own research, writing and upkeep. We help you decide which languages and pages justify that investment rather than translating everything by default.

How we run multilingual SEO

  1. Research

Keyword and intent research done separately for each language and target country.

  2. Structure

We agree the URL and hreflang setup, then decide which pages each language needs.

  3. Write

Native writers create or adapt content to match local search intent and tone.

  4. Compare

Each language is reported on its own, and we shift effort to where it pays back.

Frequently asked questions

What is Arabic SEO?

Arabic SEO is optimising a website to rank in Arabic search results. It involves native Arabic keyword research, Arabic content written for search intent, and technical setup such as right-to-left layouts and hreflang. It is not the same as translating an English site.

Should Arabic content target Modern Standard Arabic or dialect?

Usually both, depending on the topic and audience. Formal topics are often searched in Modern Standard Arabic, while everyday products and services may be searched in dialect or transliteration. Keyword research tells you which applies to each page.

What is hreflang and why does it matter?

Hreflang is a tag that tells Google which language and region each version of a page is meant for. Without it, Google may show the English page to Arabic searchers or treat language versions as duplicates. Correct hreflang helps each version reach its intended audience.

Can I use machine translation for my Arabic pages?

Machine translation can be a starting draft, but published pages should be reviewed and adapted by a native writer. Literal translations often miss the terms people actually search for and can read poorly, which affects both rankings and trust.

Do you do SEO in French as well?

Yes. We work in Arabic, English and French, and can coordinate SEO for other languages on multilingual sites. Each language gets its own research rather than a copy of another version's plan.
